Joseph A. Muklevicz announced as the new Chief Executive Officer

Garden Grove, California; June 2010 – Dean M Willard, Chairman of the Board of Advanced Chemistry and Technology, Inc (ACTech) announced the appointment of Joseph A. Muklevicz, as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer.

Joe has most recently served as Vice President and General Manager of Sargent Aerospace & Defense Aftermarket Services (Sargent), a Dover Company subsidiary. Sargent Aerospace is a provider of aviation maintenance, repair and overhaul services and operates from facilities in Miami, Florida. Joe’s primary focus at Sargent has been strategic positioning, marketing and customer support of the company’s aftermarket portfolio serving passenger, cargo and military aircraft globally.

During nearly 20 years with Pacific Scientific, a Danaher company, Joe progressed through sales, marketing, and general management roles. Prior to moving to Sargent in 2008, Joe was group vice president, sales and marketing with Pacific Scientific Aerospace, a group of six operating companies with approximately $400 million in revenues. Prior to this, he served as president and general manager of Pacific Scientific’s Aviation Services Company, where his team created a start-up MRO business that grew revenues to $50 million in ten years. Early in his career with Danaher Joe served as a sales applications engineer and then sales and marketing manager for the HTL/Kin-Tech Division of Pacific Scientific.

Joe’s career also included responsibilities in sales and subcontract administration with Lockheed Aeronautical Systems Company and Skil Corporation, a subsidiary of Emerson Electric.

He earned his BBA from the University of San Diego and his MBA from Pepperdine University.
