Receives Gold Performance Excellence Award
Garden Grove, California; February 25, 2009 – AC TECH, a manufacturer of aerospace chemical products, announced today that it has received a 2008 Boeing Gold Performance Excellence Award. Gold Performance Awards were issued to only 86 of Boeing’s approximately ten thousand worldwide suppliers.
“It is an honor for AC TECH to be recognized by our long-time partner Boeing, which sets some of the highest performance benchmarks in the aerospace industry,” said George Barraza, President and CEO. “This award is a testament to our team’s commitment to providing best-in-class products and customer service.”
To be eligible for the Gold Award, Boeing suppliers had to achieve 100 percent on-time delivery and 100 percent quality acceptance for a twelve month period.
Established in 1997, AC TECH manufactures aircraft sealants and surface treatment products to Boeing, its subcontractors and aircraft operators. AC TECH provides aerospace chemicals worldwide to commercial, military, general aviation and MRO markets.
