DESCRIPTION

AC-242 Class B-Conductive Lightning Strike Sealant (Quick Cure)
(Special Sealant)

AC-242 Class B is a quick curing, two-part, polysulfide based product designed for use as a conductive lightning strike sealant. The mixed compound is a thixotropic, non-sag consistency and can be readily applied with a spatula or extrusion gun. The cured sealant utilizes aluminum fillers to maintain electrical continuity between certain mating surfaces when sufficiently compressed through properly torqued fasteners. The material cures to a fuel-resistant rubber at temperatures above 32°F and exhibits excellent tooling properties with very low shrinkage.

AC-251 Class B Black is a two-part, quick curing, polysulfide based canopy and windshield sealant. This product is formulated for sealing of acrylic, glass, and polycarbonate aircraft canopies and windshields. AC-251 Class B Black contains no solvents and does not craze. The sealant quickly cures and exhibits excellent adhesion and resistant to UV and weather exposure. AC-251 Class B Black has a thixotropic, non-sag consistency. It can be readily applied with a spatula or extrusion gun on vertical surfaces.

AC-521 Electrical Potting Compound
(Specialty Sealant)

AC-521 is a two-component isocyanate cured liquid polysulfided polymer system used as a potting compound providing excellent insulating, sealing, reinforcement and corrosion protection for electrical connectors, wiring, and other electrical apparatus common to the aerospace industry. AC-521 is a pourable material that will flow around the electrical connectors, but not into the connector, providing an excellent seal and insulating the connectors, wiring and other electrical apparatus against moisture, solvents, and common chemicals used in and around the aircraft. AC-521 has excellent fuel resistance and can be used in fuel exposure areas to protect electrical connections.

DESCRIPTION

AC-632 Class B-Aerodynamic Smoothing Compound
(Specialty Sealant)

AC-632 Class B, is a two-part, manganese cured, polysulfide sealing compound, for aerodynamic smoothing. The mixture of base and catalyst is a thixotropic paste which can be applied with a spatula, extrusion gun, or injection gun. The cured AC-632 sealant is a firm, flexible rubber, aluminum in color, resistant to fuel and other chemicals and lubricants common to the aircraft industry. AC-632 maintains its flexibility and bond strength on most metal substrates under extremes of temperature, weathering and stress.

DESCRIPTION

AC-645 Class B-Low Density, Hole Filling, Cavity Sealant
(Specialty Sealant)

AC-645 Class B is a low density, two-component, manganese dioxide cured liquid polysulfide polymer system. It is suitable for use in fuel tank, fuselage hole filling, cavity filling and fuel tank filleting applications. It has outstanding resistance to jet fuel, as well as resistance to chemicals and petroleum products common to the aircraft industry. AC-645 Class B maintains its flexibility and bond strength on most metal substrates such as aluminum, titanium, steel, stainless steel, and many coatings under the extremes of temperature, weathering and stress. The mixed compound is a thixotropic paste easily applied by extrusion gun or spatula. It has excellent tooling properties.
